Installing Custom Chat Widget

First go to LiveChat Marketplace and install the Custom Chat Widget app there - Link Placeholder

Once the app isntalled, go to Apps > Manage Apps > Custom Chat Widget or follow this link. There, in the settings, please choose the Chat Widget tab and head to the Installation section. The ready chat widget code can be found there.

Copy the code and paste it into your website's HTML code, just before the closing </body> tag.

Requirements​

  • Please note that the Custom Chat Widget requires 3rd party cookies to be enabled in the browser the same way as the native LiveChat chat widget does. If you use a browser that blocks 3rd party cookies (or for example the incognito mode), the chat widget may not work properly.
  • Some of the browser extensions or plugins may also block the chat widget from working properly. If you are experiencing any issues, please try to disable them and check if the chat widget works correctly.
